Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
In many parts of Nigeria, including Takum Local Government Area in Taraba State, issues of ethnic conflict, religious tension, and communal violence have plagued local communities, disrupting social harmony and peace. These conflicts often arise due to misunderstandings, competition for resources, and historical grievances. As communities work towards building peaceful coexistence, photography has emerged as a powerful tool for fostering understanding and empathy.
